J LISTON DESIGN is a design and fabrication studio committed to creating high quality furniture and art. An alumnus of the Rochester Institute of Technology, John honed his skills over 15 years in custom glass and metal foundries before opening his San Francisco studio in 2012. Combining experience from jewelry, metalsmithing, foundry, and glass casting, John’s designs take influence from architecture, industrial formations and natural objects. Bringing function to the forefront, each piece is designed without excess, executing clean and clear forms handcrafted by John in San Francisco.
