Policies: Sales, Returns & Deliveries

Sales

A. Stocked Items

  • Invoices for stocked items require payment in full and are considered final upon receipt of full payment, including any delivery charges and taxes.

B. Ordered Items

  • Custom ordered products require a 50% deposit. Orders are considered final upon receipt of (a) deposit, and when required, (b) signed DFA, and/or (c) COM. and balance due upon notification of product arrival.

Returns

  • In-store, in-stock purchases may be returned for a full refund within 7 days or credited within 14 days of the purchase date.
  • All ordered products are non-refundable.
  • South Hill Home reserves the right to refuse any return.
  • A 25% re-stocking fee is applicable.
  • In-stock final sale, clearance, promotional item purchases are final sale. No return.

Deliveries (Greater Toronto Area)

The following information pertains specifically to delivery policies for orders landing and delivering in Toronto. For orders requiring delivery services outside of Toronto, specific details apply and are communicated on your order.

 

Upon notification that your order has arrived to our 3rd party warehouse, we can arrange:

A. In Home Delivery

  • Our delivery team provides handling, transport, set up and some assembly, as well as disposal of debris. Delivery fees are calculated based on manpower, fuel surcharges and travel time. An estimated quote can be requested.
  • Please ensure that:
    • Moving elevator is booked if required.
    • Indoor and outdoor entry paths are free of any obstacles, including snow and ice in the winter, that may inhibit the delivery of your items.
    • Entryways, staircase, corners and elevator measurements are taken prior to ordering products in order to ensure a seamless delivery. We cannot refund delivery charges and products ordered fall in accordance with our sales policy.

B. Pickups

  • Items may be picked up from our 3rd party warehouse. Pick up fees apply and the associated fee will be provided at time of pickup notification/request.

C. Storage

  • After 15 days from arrival notification/final invoice, storage fees will apply. Fees are calculated based on the square footage required to securely store the items.

D. Shipping to Showroom

  • While we do offer pick up from our showroom for smaller items that do not require a receiving warehouse, storage space at our showroom is very limited. Upon notification that your order has been received at South Hill Home, you will have a window of 5 business days to arrange for either pickup or local delivery. After this period, your items will be moved to our 3rd part warehouse where storage and delivery fees will thereafter apply.
