Joseph Dirand
Renowned for his radical interiors with taut lines and black-and-white opposites.
Joseph Dirand is evolving his stylistic vocabulary towards more softness, more fantasy, more classicism as well, without however losing his graphic force. Dirand was born in Paris; his father, Jacques Dirand, was a photographer specializing in interiors and his mother was a fashion designer. He studied architecture at the École Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Paris-Belleville.
