Trocadero Cocktail Table – 9473

It has been David Powell’s habit, for nearly half a century, to keep detailed travel journals of his many adventures, never knowing when inspiration will strike and be recorded as a doodle or hasty sketch. One such moment occurred while standing in front of the symmetrically composed double-curved facade of the Art Deco “Palais de Tokyo“ in Paris. It ultimately resulted in this table, aptly named after the “Trocadero” onto which the building faces. The Trocadero cocktail table has an intersecting metal base that supports and bisects an inset wood, stone or solid surface top.
