Buffalo Jump Resin Table – 9446-R/9447-R
Fenwick Bonnell’s Buffalo Jump Table takes its name from the precipitous geological drops at “Head-Smashed-In”, a world heritage site in Alberta. While the inspiration may be thousands of miles away the proximity of fabricators to the Powell & Bonnell studio, streamlines the various stages of product prototyping & development. This was true in the design of the Buffalo Jump Table. Originally conceived with a solid stainless-steel frame, a visit to the metal shop revealed the prototype table much too heavy to be moved. Working one-on-one with the fabricator fostered important changes to the design and a more versatile frame. Combining tubular and solid metal made the frame much lighter and permitted a full range of plated and powder coated finishes in addition to an integrated handle, a practical and stylish detail. These changes make the table easily movable while remaining sturdy. Rustic woodgrain resin or the new smooth resin top enable this table to compliment any décor.
