Nobi Dai Swivel Stool – 9998/9999

With the success of the simply elegant Obi Swivel Stool, Kiyoshi Sakurai was asked to develop another version with an upholstered back rest for additional comfort. To increase lower back support the height was “stretched” (“nobi” in Japanese) to accept an inset leather back pad. The Nobi Swivel Stool fame is shown in its unfinished metal state, prior to metal plating and upholstery. Most recently, in response to market requests both designs are now available in a, scaled-up “BIG” or “Dai” version, as seen with the new Polished Bronze finish, before upholstery.
