Mura Oval Side Table

Created in collaboration with The Goodman Studio (TGS) for partnering gallery Maison Gerard, the Mura Side Table presents a fusion of STACKLAB’s sand-cast metal Jupiter pedestal and a kiln-fused, droplet-shaped glass surface. Crafted from fused borosilicate glass, the table’s distinctively organic top is available in triangular and ovular shapes. This glasswork, marked by a unique mottled pattern, exemplifies TGS’s specialized technique. Complementing the table top is STACKLAB’s signature Jupiter pedestal available in polished, or satin bronze with an optional patina in black or bismuth. Drawing inspiration from central-eastern Canada’s rich manufacturing heritage, the legs undergo a traditional sand-casting process reminiscent of industrial machine components. This approach introduces subtle variations to the legs, enhancing their tactile charm. The table’s name derives from the Japanese word for “unevenness, irregularity, inequality.”
