Impala Lounge Chair – 9993

As implied in the dynamic lines of his original sketch for the Impala Bar Stool, Fenwick Bonnell wanted to create a stool which would appear to be in motion. Subsequent to the initial prototype the arms have evolved with more curvature so they follow the sweeping form of the chair’s back legs. The chair’s metal frame is a combination of tubular and solid bar stock, which lessens the weight while adding strength where needed to support the cantilevered seat and back. The harmonious balance of these elements resulted in the creation of a lounge chair which is as imagined, non-static and graceful as its name sake. It is shown in satin black finish and vegan leather and is available in all Powell & Bonnell metal finishes.
