Cylindre Chair
Cylindre chair designed by Jean-Michel Wilmotte in 1983 for the Academy collection, Cylindre reflects Wilmotte’s design approach in working with simple forms. It is a formal seat, entirely made from a square-section iron tube, bent and welded to form an emblematic silhouette of the 1980s. The soft cushioning for the seat and backrest is upholstered in carefully selected Italian leather.
