S-Table Dining Table – Extendable

Simple, sturdy and space-efficient – the extendable S-Table showcases designer Marcel Gascoin’s mastery of form and function. The rectangular tabletop slides apart to allow the two neatly-concealed extension leaves to be slotted into place, giving options for six, eight or ten dinner guests. Clean, simple lines, elegant tapered legs, strength of frame and precise craftsmanship give it a timeless quality and un-compromised functionality. Conceived in 1951 by Gascoin for the living quarters of the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) in France, the ingenious flexibility and understated elegance that made it popular then is just as relevant now. Today’s S-Table by GUBI is available in solid and veneered oak or walnut, with a fixed version also an option. It is part of a unified Gascoin collection that includes the B-Table, C-Chair and Trèfle Stool. Crafted from wood, they offer consistent and adaptive solutions for the dining room or office.
