Hunk Armchair

Inspired by the work of famous interior designers such as Pierre Chareau, Gio Ponti or Carlo Scarpa, Rodolphe Parente decided to study interior design and product design. Graduated from the Ecole Nationale des Beaux Arts of Dijon then the Ecole Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs of Strasbourg, Rodolphe Parente decided to reinforce his initial training in product design in the École Cantonale d’Art de Lausanne, ECAL. Rodolphe Parente collaborated for a few years with Ms Andrée Putman in Paris. He was in charge of main projects from the furniture as Emeco or Poltrons Frau collection, to interior design as the refurbishment of the Morgans Hotel in New-York. Today, Rodolphe Parente is expanding his own studio in constant pursuit of sense of detail, savoir-faire and quality of production. His work is based on contextual code integrating graphic pattern and expressive materials to create a singular and unique atmosphere.
