Gold Silver Oxide 3D Mirror

In 1999, Gaignon became interested in the ancient Venetian craft of manufacturing convex mirrors with silver amalgam. He was fascinated by the frozen plasticity of glass - hard as marble but fluid and capable of taking on any form while reflecting the surrounding environment. Gaignon independently began to study the effect of silver oxide on glass and experimented with shades and colours creating beautiful works of art.
